Oil transfer arm, also known as marine oil transfer arm or marine liquid loading and unloading arm, is an equipment installed on the dock to complete the loading and unloading tasks of liquid petrochemical products. It has the ability to adapt to different tides, freeboards, and ship movements, and is an efficient and safe oil loading and unloading equipment.
The oil delivery arm should be regularly inspected and maintained. The manual oil delivery arm should check the condition of the steel wire rope, the performance of the upper and lower rope pulleys, the sealing performance of the rotary joint, the connection of bolts and shaft pins, the balance performance of the inner and outer arms, and the operational performance. The hydraulic oil delivery arm should be inspected for the condition of the steel wire rope, the performance of the upper and lower rope pulleys, the balance performance of the inner and outer arms, the operational performance, the working condition of the hydraulic system, the performance of the oil filter, the sealing of the hydraulic pipelines, joints, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic component leakage, the sealing performance of the rotary joint, and the connection of bolts and shaft pins. For areas with poor lubrication, add an appropriate amount of lubricating grease; When the hydraulic oil level is below the lower limit of the fuel tank oil gauge, add hydraulic oil to 2/3 of the oil gauge height.
1. Oil arm balance performance inspection: Control the inner or outer arm to stop at any position within the working range. If it is a hydraulic oil delivery arm, place the control handle in the floating position. At this point, the inner or outer arms no longer swing, indicating good balance performance; On the contrary, if it cannot stop at any position, it indicates poor balance and requires adjustment of the balance weight.
2. Inspection of leakage inside the rotary joint: The rotary joint is equipped with a sealing inspection hole, and the hole plug is loosened. If crude oil is found inside, it indicates that the sealing ring of the rotary joint is invalid and should be replaced.
3. Lubrication: Regularly add an appropriate amount of calcium based grease at each lubrication point on the rotating joints of the oil delivery arm and the rotating bearings of the upper and lower pulleys.
